New Commercial Director Sea Freight Solutions at Scanlog

Scanlog – the Scandinavian freight logistics specialist passionate about Responsible Logistics, today announced that Ms. Myriam Nyström, former Operations Manager for sea freight at Scanlog, has been appointed Commercial Director Sea Freight Solutions.

-Myriam has been very proactive and assumed a commercial role to develop our product during a challenging time. She really has a strong business acumen and handle our customers and suppliers in an excellent manner, says Martin Ytander, Chief Commercial Officer.

Scanlog is growing and developing the organization. Recently, Scanlog established three Commercial Directors for each product area. Myriam was previously operationally responsible for sea freight at Scanlog and is now appointed to a commercial role in the company, focusing on product development.

– My hope is that I will be able to use my operational experience to find even more efficient commercial solutions for our clients at the same time as strengthening our relationship with our partners. I am motivated by finding the best solutions for the client and developing together. I have the honor of working in an incredibly fun organization where you get support from colleagues and managers, says Myriam Nyström.

Internal recruitments

Myriam has worked at Scanlog for several years in various positions. The position as Operations Manager Sea Freight Solutions is taken over by Ms. Therese Bech, former Logistics Specialist at Scanlog.

– In recent months, we have made several internal promotions. I feel proud that there are opportunities for our co-workers to develop and take on new challenges within the organization.
