Scanlog opens an office in Northern Sweden

Swedish logistics company Scandinavian Logistics Partners (Scanlog) continues to invest in northern Sweden and establishes a new sales office in the city of Skellefteå.

It will be Scanlog’s first office outside the three metropolitan areas and the fourth in Sweden, earlier this autumn they also opened an office at Gardermoen outside Oslo, Norway.

– Not least the pandemic and the consequences of the unrest both in our vicinity and in the world in general have shown that global supply chains are vulnerable, says Lars Widelund, who is responsible for the new office as Senior Business Development Manager at Scanlog. Being on the geographical edge of Europe makes the challenges even greater. The importance of a creative and responsible logistics partner cannot be overestimated, says Lars, and I am really looking forward to creating value for the regional business community.

– We are incredibly happy to have the opportunity to assist the industry and trade in the green transition in Norr- and Västerbotten, the two most northerly counties in Sweden, says Scanlog’s chairman of the board and founder Mathias Wideroth. Scanlog’s focus on sustainable international transport solutions where rail and sea are used for long-distance transport, trucks with alternative fuels for distribution and where air freight when it is really needed is always carbon offset, goes hand in hand with the ambitions clearly shown in the rapid development in northern Sweden.

Scanlog’s office is located at Åkarnas hus in Skellefteå.
