At its Global Supplier Symposium in Cranberry, Pennsylvania on October 2, Westinghouse Electric Company recognized our successful partnership by giving its Signature Award 2024 to Scanlog represented by our founder and chairman Mathias Wideroth.

Westinghouse’s Global Logistics Manager Neil M Murphy commented: “Over the last two years or so, the world changed in horrendous ways, and this brought change in perspectives and in trade. There has been disruption of global energy security – and there has been change in global logistics that support electricity production. Westinghouse was challenged through this time – and It was Scandinavian Logistics Partners (Scanlog) who we trusted to help guide us with our logistic strategy through this period. We trusted them to get things right and together, we’ve got some very significant things right. Scanlog chose to step up and commit to Westinghouse to do what we all knew would be more difficult than what we had done before. The consequence of their actions was Westinghouse being able to keep a special promise to our customer- which means something significant to many of us all here today. This type of support would not have been possible without the close collaboration and trusting partnership between the leaderships of Westinghouse and Scanlog. So, I have great admiration for these special people at Scanlog – I see their actions and behaviors as heroic”.

Mathias Wideroth says “I was both moved and extremely humbled to receive this recognition on behalf of Team Scanlog. We have been lucky to work with Westinghouse for well over half a decade now, and this cooperation goes well beyond the usual client-suppler relationship and has indeed developed into what I tend to believe is a mutually fruitful true partnership. If we hadn’t fully understood it before, I think the Covid-19 pandemic taught us that no supply chain, no freight flow is stronger than its weakest link. The current state of affairs in the global economy and in the global security order unfortunately only reinforces that insight. That’s why we are now sitting down with our clients and partners, including Westinghouse in order to design and execute even more robust supply chains involving more redundancy and creating more resilience to meet those challenges and safeguarding the continuous integrity of global supply chains and the world trade.. We also then take the opportunity to speak candidly about sustainability and how we are now able to offer 100 % fossil free transports by all modes of transport. On behalf of the whole Scanlog Team – thank you again Westinghouse for your trust and this amazing award – and responsibility and safety first!”
